Cancellations

Cancellation charges vary from property to property – when you book, you should check the terms that apply to your chosen apartment. If it is necessary to cancel your reservation, please give us written notice by fax or e-mail, 29 or more days before the scheduled arrival date, and we will refund your deposit, less a £50 administration charge.

If you are unable to give this length of notice, the full cost of the booking may be charged. A refund may be made at the discretion of the apartment’s management, if the property can be rented to another guest. No refunds will be made for non-arrivals, late arrivals or early departures. Clients are recommended to take out adequate travel insurance.

Security deposit

On arrival, guests are required to provide either a credit card imprint or a cash deposit to the management of the apartments. Any breakages, damage or additional charges incurred during the stay will be deducted from the deposit or billed to the card. All charges must be settled in full before departure.

Arrival/departure times

Please note the check-in and check-out times for your apartment. If guests require an early check-in and/or late check-out, we recommend booking the apartment for the previous and/or following night. Most apartment buildings can store luggage until apartments are ready.

Liability

Select Apartments act solely as agent and not as principal for apartments. We cannot be held liable or accept responsibility for any dissatisfaction with an apartment. We will, however, use ou r best endeavours to remedy any problem notified to us during your stay.

There may be occasions where, because of circumstances beyond our control, we will need to amend prices or change accommodation at short notice. If this cannot be avoided, we will use our best endeavours to inform guests of any such change before arrival.

By making a reservation with us, you are deemed to have read and accepted them.

Booking procedure

To make a reservation, we require an initial deposit of £250, together with written confirmation of your booking request, which can be sent by e-mail or fax. The balance or, if applicable, the first month’s rent, is payable in full 28 days before the date of arrival.

Methods of payment

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if payment does not reach us 28 days before the date of arrival.

We are pleased to accept:

Credit and debit cards – American Express, Diners Club, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa

Customers are required to complete and return a credit card authorisation form before their reservation is made. A three per cent surcharge is levied on payments by credit card. There is no surcharge on debit card transactions. The balance will be charged to the same card account unless otherwise requested.

Cheque/bankers’ draft – in pounds sterling (GBP), drawn on a UK bank account

Bank transfer/wire/CHAPS – ask for our bank details. If you intend to pay by bank transfer, please ensure that the payment reaches our account net of all bank charges. Please ask your bank to show your name and invoice number clearly on the transfer. A copy of the transfer should be sent to us by fax or e-mail.

Amendments

Any changes made once a reservation has been confirmed will incur a charge of £30. Amendments made less than 28 days before arrival will be treated as a cancellation, unless the duration of stay is extended.

International reservations

All rates shown in the brochure are in local currencies. We will advise you of the equivalent price in pounds sterling (GBP) when you book, based on the exchange rate on that day. If there is an adverse fluctuation in the exchange rate, we reserve the right to impose a surcharge and will advise you accordingly.
